Jottings of Japan

Never really thought of myself as a blogger before... but it seems to be the trend of late, so I thought I'd give it a go. Apologies in advance for the boring content you will endure as I capture my life in size 10 Arial font (for the most part, anyway). So without further ado, Let's blogging!

Did you know ・・・?

Was catching up on my trivia the other night, and two pieces of randomness stuck with me.

1) If you write the hiragana for "pu" and put a Japanese period after it, it looks like a person bowling.

ぷ。

2) The statue of Colonel Sanders out front of every KFC wears glasses and they have prescription lenses in them. Why? Who knows. But they do.

I love that piece of trivia, and have gone and told everyone in the office about it like it was a big discovery - they loved it, I know it.

and you don't happen to know where I could get my hands on a red rug with a floral design????
