Jottings of Japan

Never really thought of myself as a blogger before... but it seems to be the trend of late, so I thought I'd give it a go. Apologies in advance for the boring content you will endure as I capture my life in size 10 Arial font (for the most part, anyway). So without further ado, Let's blogging!

ひさしぶり Hisashiburi

So I haven't blogged for a while. Been quite busy actually. Sports festivals are coming out my ears, studying Electone again is taking up a lot of time, and I just bought a new car so I have been driving that a lot. A friend and I tried to drive to the river about 2 weeks ago. Didn't quite make it to the river but we did make it onto someone's farm and into one of their rice fields...

Speaking of rice fields, I'm going rice harvesting in Tochigi on 15th 16th and 17th of this month. Can't wait - should be awesome.

Am starting to realise just how wonderful this little village I'm living in really is. Only taken a year! haha. A friend and I have been exploring places I never knew existed and have been having a blast doing it.

Going to Tokyo again this Saturday for Electone lessons, then I have the village's Sports Festival on Sunday. I don't think I'm entered in any events, but I am working as part if the Kyouikuiinkai. I get to use the starter's gun. Tanoshimi ne! Never done that before - should be awesome.

Feeling a bit
all over the shop
today, and this blog kind of reflects that I think. So I'll leave it there for now. Cheers.
